School has ended, and so has the hell known as junior year. I am very determined not to let the disaster happen again, so I have pledged to master my subjects this year and get ready for everything early so that I won't have that horrible experience again.
So far, so good. Did pretty well on ACTs, though I had wanted the full 36. I suppose beggers can't be choosers, ne? But I did get pretty close to perfect, so I suppose I should be satisfied. Also did relatively well on my SAT II's on Biology, my favorite subject. But my standards are probably very different from what you guys would think. If I got less than a 700 on any one SAT subject, I would probably scream bloody murder. That's just my life, I guess.
My dad commissioned me to do this awful paintover of this horribly blurry photo that he and Mom took. It's blurred so bad that you can't see anything in there, but he still wants me to repair it as if I were a magician. Fought with him a great deal, then I finally wilted when Mom started siding with him. Damn them. Am still not sure how I'm going to be able to finish this crap.
Have started college essays... urg, I feel so insignificant compared to those really talented people out there. It ain't my fault that I haven't had some wonderful epiphany while volunteering! I just do it for the hours...
Gonna be going back to China in few weeks. We've been shopping nonstop for the last week or so, and I have become an expert on flipping through racks and zeroing in on sizes. Bought so much stuff that it's not even funny. Also got a very short haircut that goes up past my chin, which is funny since I've had long hair for as long as I can remember. I might post a picture up, but it'll take me awhile to remember to do it.
Recently became a huge fan of the anime known as Baccano~! It is the single greatest anime I have seen in a long, long time (besides Cross Game, which is godly). Just one look at the opening will make you realize how good it is. And you have to watch all 13 episodes or else you won't understand a thing that's going on. And that bloodly mafia violence... ooh, yes! My favorite character spends most of his screen time covered in bloody and dragging poor souls over train tracks... how brilliant is that?
Anyway, I'll stop rambling and get back to reading my Star Wars fanfiction. Star Wars is godly. Even more godly than Baccano! and Mitsuru Adachi... well, almost as godly as Mitsuru Adachi.
Current projects:
- Dad's thing. Curses.
- Portrait of Meisa Kuroki. Face nearly finished, hair needs to be refined, need to finish neck and jewelry.

- coloring of Eva kids lineart that I did awhile ago.
